Anyway, I’m lucky to chat with some of our ASIC devs—they’re incredibly smart 🥹. Truly impressed! And this is a chance to have access to all this level of details - Juniper is a great company for that, you have (internally) access to all implementation details (nothing is kept secret 🤫)

Learning our in-house “language” for programming ASICs—I would’ve loved to be an ASIC dev, but I’m too old for that now 🤣. I’ve always found this kind of code so beautiful, with all the constraints you have to manage. 1/2

Diving into the Trio source code to get a better grasp of our NextHop chaining implementation. The code is beautiful and so optimized —learning so much along the way!
