Agreed, social media has become an important method of communication and networking in the world, the people running it need to take more responsibility for allowing abuse to flourish and grow via their platforms.

The justice system for men's abuse and violence against women is not fit for purpose. It's not even justice.

Absolutely, no matter how many people in leadership positions tell us that they support and believe women, without actions it means nothing.

They just checked that we had all the support that we needed, which I confirmed. I am in regular contact with his school (which he has not attended in the last two and a half years due to anxiety), and their attendance officer comes round every two weeks and has a chat with him.

A few days after this comment was left (that I did not respond to), I received a call from the local child safeguarding hub. They told me that they had received a referral out of concern for my son's welfare, from his dad's partner. Obviously they were satisfied that everything was fine.

I still never told him any details, I have never even told him that his dad was violent towards me, and I have always said that I don't want to prejudice him against his dad, and that he can always get back in contact with him whenever he feels ready.

I have never told him about the abuse I suffered, but his dad sent him several messages referring to it, implying that I was the perpetrator, meaning that I had to talk to him about the accusations in those messages.

Kirstie is a nurse working in mental health, and worked or still works, for CAMHS. I have had no previous contact with her, I have never met her or spoken to her. She, and my ex, have not seen or spoken to my son in over two years, through his own choice.

On Monday, I was incredibly lucky to have attended @octopus.energy #energytechsummit as one of 500 customer ballot winners. It was such a good day, and really inspiring. I will put my photos and videos in this thread.

I thought it was crazy even before knowing this. I'm so scared for the world. The UK and the USA leaders are doing what they want and they don't care what we think.

I'm very pleased that my MP is one of those Labour MPs rebelling against the government on this.
