Thanks! I try really hard to curate stuff people actually want. I purged 5 boxes worth of books that have been donated to the little library over the years. Lots of random junk gets dumped in it, so I try to rotate that stuff out and keep it looking nice and exciting 😊

It's warm out, so I finally organized the books I store for my Little Free Library into totes. Also refreshed the stock for people as they emerge from winter hibernation.

This is my first read of the series. I'm excited to read Twelve Months next and be caught up with everyone else.

I'm reading Battle Grounds now, and it's already way better than Peace Talks. The publisher splitting the story in two was dirty.

It's probably my favorite book of the whole series. Love me a katabasis and a heist.

It had some major issues with lack of consent and deserves the rating.

This month was a very mixed bag with some high highs and low lows. Also reread TWO books that I was forced to read in school. Time really does bring different perspective to works you read as a kid.

My therapist gave me some good advice yesterday: start the day with a morning meditation instead of going straight to your phone and scrolling social media. It's obvious in retrospect. I hope I can make it a habit.

I've already done a reread of Roll of Thunder, Hear My Cry, which I was forced to read in 4th grade. I remember it being "boring," but it's definitely not. The way that the adults tip toe around the darkness of the real world and package it for the children in the book is relatable and so real today
