Bound by Air, clay, glaze wire, sinew on a wood base , 6*6*8 A set of rolled pottery that are displayed with wire and sinew wrapping them into position . The ground they rest on is textured. The glaze is a mix of purples , greens , blues and browns.

Myths Of Flesh and Clay. This is a mix of forms and faces , highly textured pieces of forms, real and abstract. The main figure is open chested with a spiral form emerging. The head on the figure is resting on a wire spring. In the background another head, more Neanderthal , rests on a column. It’s interchangeable with the other head. The glaze is a mix of earthtones and blues intermingled throughout the piece.

It’s a sad state of affair and shows the climate of the whole of the US. Hate, money and power are ruling.

Bright colours with textured raised forms of colour interspersed onto the top of the image. Apparent pallete knife marks make up the base.

Dark blue colours slowly move up the canvas changing into lighter shades as they rise. The pallete knife marks are evident to the viewer .

Visual Elements & Composition * Base Layer & Colors:
The background consists of swirling, sculpted textures painted in warm copper and dark, almost black tones. The interplay between these two colors gives a sense of light and shadow, movement and depth. The texture looks hand-sculpted, with forms that resemble human musculature or abstract waves. * 3D Hands:
Two highly realistic hands emerge from the canvas—one on the lower left and the other on the upper right. They’re sculpted and painted in a glossy finish with marbled copper, black, and hints of red, as if the material were molten or alive. These hands seem to reach out of the canvas, adding a jarring physicality. * Glass Mosaic Tiles:
Scattered across the surface are iridescent square tiles, mostly in ruby red, magenta, and metallic hues. They sparkle and shift color with light, creating a contrast against the matte and textured surface. The tiles cluster most densely in the upper left and lower right corners, suggesting some kind of flow or motion, and some fall into a curving path across the center.

It’s a surreal, mythic piece. There’s tension between beauty and discomfort, the hands reaching out from fractured glass feels symbolic of transformation or struggle—possibly something spiritual, emotional, or deeply personal.
