03.03.2026 04:44 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0I really think this years team struggles the same as last years... which is it gets stagnant... high screen action & one shooter stationary in each corner has a "stagnancy" or limiting factor in high leverage games and in the playoffs... it works great for most of the 82 though

Celts being back in "Flexibility" is nice...
Spending draft picks to move money, KP, Simons, Niang, or drop under tax (#32 pick last year) is a bummer
This draft, C's have our 1st and MIL 2nd and we don't need to use either to get under the tax line
Could get a couple good guys!
lol

Your memory's a little off. Ainge traded #30 for two 2nds & taking Kanter OFF the team so C's could sign Tristan
In Danny's defense, the 2019-20 C's had crazy rookies (Carsen, Tacko, Waters, Grant, Romeo, Poirier) I'm pretty sure Brad was the one pushing for Danny to get a vet instead of more rooks
I guessed James Jones before I clicked down and saw Korver

blue cheese is a stay away bc it's moldy
liver is a no-go
tofu lacks the texture of food
snails is a no-go
oysters have a very weak case, but ultimately, thats a NO
lol
this story reminds me of Joe Mayo, in that, frankly it sounds made-up

New NBA owner groups now bringing in private firms to own up to 20% of an NBA team like Sixth Street Partners with Celts & Spurs... I have a question
If C's or Spurs end in luxury tax, and 6th St owns 20%, do investors in 6th St funds get an invoice for 20% of the tax bill?
How does that work?
Just like that ... It goes from "It's So Over" to "We're So Back!"
LOL
I'm not big Vooch believer in his late 30s... Surprised they didn't regrate him for Nurk or Rob or Klay to get under the tax.
I guess this is the team though!
They maybe got down to just X and the only teams with roster spots saw their predicament and said, "FRP to take him, or no deal"

I wonder if Celts are over the barrel here about Xman?
Why no news!
One area Cs can improve is signing 2nd round picks to the 15 man roster rather than swinging on vets
Moving 2024 #41 for Jaden Springer, lost chance to add a guard at that draft slot & Springer cost 2 more 2nds to dump
Not signing Amari and signing Chris Boucher just us cost a 2027 2nd to dump
I think the Bulls are having a great deadline
The idea that Ayo + Phillips should return better than Rob Dillingham, Leonard Miller & 4 seconds... I just dont agree
And I feel this way about the Bulls moves... got good value for players who as a whole constituted a going nowhere team
how is a 1st round pick and three 2nds practically nothing?
04.02.2026 21:12 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0Took Josh Richardson into the remainder of the Gordon Hayward TPE, if I remember well... and then Richardson became the matching money in the D White trade
04.02.2026 00:05 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0We should flip Vuc for Nurk...

Chicago Bulls doin damage this trade deadline.
Adding seconds to eat Dario
Adding Pels 2nd to get Simons, younger and better than Vucevic
Adding Jaden Ivey
Chicago took their vitamins this morning!!
no word on the 2nds either
Celtics have the Pels and the Bucks 2nds this year, presently 32 & 38
If Bulls got a "best of" they picked up a very choice 2nd round pick to get the better, younger player in Simons
the amount saved is immaterial for a 2-seed. If the Celts advance past the first round the home playoff game revenue will eclipse the tax savins for swapping Simons for Vooch
Does Vooch help Celts advance past rnd 1? because it could be a money loser in he doesn't
WHAT ARE THE 2nds is PRETTY IMPORTANT - Celts have Pels & Bucks 2nds this year
03.02.2026 20:44 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0but the ideal version of Ivery is a lot better than the ideal Huerter over their next contracts... good swing by the Bulls. two deals deadline and two uncharacteristically nice swings
03.02.2026 19:56 — 👍 2 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0are the Bulls turning over a new leaf?

I'm behind in this game, so I don't know the shot that you're referring to...
but generally speaking, I think Queta's creativity to attack from the 3-10ft area is one of his greatest strengths
though I'm sure as I catch up on the DVR, I'm about to see an abomination of an FGA ... LOL
well, Jake is saying ATL sending their own '27 2nd and NYK 2030 second... but according to NBA future draft pick scoreboard on realgm ATL doesnt have thier 2027 2nd nor does ATL have the Knicks '30 ... so ... i'll wait for a clarification...

Shams says Blazers SENDING seconds
Jake Fischer says Hawks SENDING
rooting for Jake here after draft night, lol
If you look at the teams who want a change or have a business decision to make about the tax, a handful of stars could be trade candidates (reported or not):
1. Giannis
2. Sengun
3. JJJ
4. Donovan Mitchell
5. KAT
6. Lauri
7. Paolo
