I lament the things I lost, but I still have the Studio and I keep choosing the LG over it every day.

1. That being said, I recently replaced mine with a 240hz screen and it's been a revelation. These monitors are geared towards gaming, but I fell in love with it for regular computer usage. Cursor is more precise, faster, smoother. It ruined 60hz monitors for me a bit, so approach with care.

2. Going from regular glass to nano texture was a shock for me. I tried to get used to it, then returned it and got the regular, giant relief. It’s a bit like film grain, but softer. Reduces the sharpness of reflections by turning them into larger blurrier areas of reflection. No advantage for me.

Hmmm, good idea! No promises but I might play with it.

Hey everyone🌞

I’ve just wrapped another client project and I’m on the hunt for my next gig. I’m looking for:

- contracts outside IR35
- content design, tech writing or design systems leadership roles or consultancy
- a lovely team to work with

Shares appreciated πŸ™πŸ»

Converge - A Design Systems Conference

As it grows in complexity, I've seen many people comparing Figma to an operating system. But because of their plugin ecosystem, I don't think that's a bad thing.

I'm speaking about this and more at Converge! It’s organised by a group of very nice people, and the other speakers are superstars.

I had a bout of problems in 2021 that started from no clear reason, doctors couldn’t find where it came from either, so one of my theories is that maybe Covid triggered it? I don’t know, but it does seem like a more common issue than it was, and obviously a lot of people had Covid.
