Check out this great new resource from the APA on working with the media. Scientists: your job isn't over when you get to "in press." We need to make sure the word gets out beyond academic journals about what we have learned to make an impact!

As things start to wind down for me at APA, I'm proud of the growth in the focus on science.....and also a growth in scientists at APA! In 2025, APA members include over 30,000 scientists who are actively contributing to the research literature. YAY!

I have decided to leave APA at the end of my term. Ultimately, with my kids getting older, and me becoming progressively less cool by the minute, I chose to spend time with them while they would still allow it, and to return to UNC to preserve my tenure.

Describe how loss of NIH funds is not just affecting the campus, but how does it affect “main street” in your town/community. How does funding affect employment, health care, services, etc off campus? Tell your local and state leaders and/or tag them here!
Troubling:
Congresspeople say they are NOT hearing from academics, or university administrators.
