Will Tell Stories For Food Naomi Kritzer’s blog The tl;dr here is to vote for Aurin Chowdhury; I door-knocked for her in 2023 and I have had no regrets about my support. Aurin has only been on the City Council for about a year and a half. I think she’s done good work so far. Her accomplishment list shows her as someone who has both centered her work on progressive values and sought pragmatic solutions to problems. Her more centrist colleague Emily Koski has endorsed her, describing her as a “bridge-builder.” I would, without a moment of hesitation, vote for Aurin Chowdhury for Minneapolis City Council. I would not rank either of the other candidates.

A marathon is simply the perfect urban event, because (1) the venue is the city itself, (2) the competition is positive-sum, (3) the athletes broadly reflect the diversity of the community, (4) spectating requires only being in public, and (5) cheering is participatory and consequently reciprocal

My 10-yo noticed this morning that all of the yard signs for competing candidates in our neighborhood advertise "labor-endorsed Democrats," and I tried to explain that in Minneapolis, *which* and how many unions endorsed a candidate is the real question. This is what I mean! Aurin for Ward 12❤️!
