Today in Congress, @schiff.senate.gov and @padilla.senate.gov visited an ICE prison in California and talked with people there.

I'm using this account to burn through some haterade, but it's important to call out the good work as well as the bad. Call your congressfolk and tell them to do this too!

I see people badmouthing Jeffries in response to this, as if he's already backtracked. I'd encourage folks to NOT punish pols for doing the thing you want them to do. Praise this stance and this moment. Keep pressure on not to surrender, and assume we should simultaneously push on other fronts, too.
