Thank goodness for you. This depresses me on a daily basis. Was just thinking about the loud trains that feel impossible to stop some days. I find it unfathomable that learning in its own right and the excitement and joy that brings is not felt to be enough if it cannot be reduced to a measurement.

I feel your pain. We needed higher fences when we caught them sitting on top of the shed and terrifying the neighbours by looking over the 8 foot fence 🙈
