I really need to designate a yappign space to just spit out lore stuff and I might make my -used to be art tumblr- that space... hm... (because for here it's too long...? Or maybe it doesn't matter...)

And has extra bits that make sure to cover his back! Almost like it's an attempt at concealing where his snakes are coming from. And it makes sense, as they're represented as separate entities on Kood and Messmer's helms.

Their true form is, as a growth on Messmer's body.

I say this becase I think it's strange that Messmer wears so little clothing (possibly, because he's running so hot it bothers him to be too covered, and it bothers his snakes' mobility) but the cape just conveniently covers the chest and back,

And I like that connection, that the wings are a signifier of wisdom, I think it's actually the reason the winged Serpents are not looked down upon, and the reason why Messmer wasn't seen as weird up until (headcanon) Andreas noticed the serpents sprout out of his body.

And because they have their own spirits they are inherently "older" and "wiser" then him, but because they are also him, in some other aspects, they reflect his emotions.

This person also mentioned the wings could be a sign of age (serpents developing wings and "becoming dragons" situation)

I got a bit distracted reading some stuff on Messmer on tumblr, that person lowk very entertaining to read and some things I might adopt myself.

It reminded me how I see the winged serpents as a part of Messmer's physical body, and maybe his own soul, but they have their own spirits (?

There is something so funny with Messmer's fight, one is that he can fucking fly. Two is that he's always ALWAYS looking to be behind you.

Fighting him with camera un locked you have to memorize his patterns because he doesn't let you see him (hot...)

He's so perfect...

Is just the climax of the story. I will add watching art flop or succeed is also part of the experience as an artist. Did I do all this to put it out in the world and watch it get lost in the noise? Maybe, but the process of it is not something anyone can take away from me.

The hours put, the pain in my shoulders, my wrist, the going to bed late because I want to work on this. All of this is something AI bros will never be able to experience, because the focus of any AI bro is just a result. Art is not only the result, it's the process, it's the struggle, the result...

I'll have to check how long this comic took as it was sketched roughly for a while before I got to it, but as I enjoy the process I realize another unavoidable truth with AI, and that is that the process is part of the art.
