Through out February and March, we organised a range of activities as part of a fundraising competition between the BHF Centres for Research Excellence and recipients of Accelerator Awards, which included 8 Universities. Ultimately, we raised a total of £3144! Here's a summary of what we got up to

A graph showing that CHD cases have a higher risk of both hospitalisation & death pre-vaccination (for COVID-19). Post-vaccination the risks of both are significantly reduced, but still higher in CHD cases than controls

We showed that vaccination significantly decreased COVID-19 related hospitalisation & mortality in congenital heart disease patients, but even post-vaccine they have a higher risk of severe outcomes. Made possible by @thebhf.bsky.social Data Science Centre
