Controversial opinion, but 'Sister Act 2' and 'School of Rock' are essentially the same film.

International Women’s Day celebrates equality.

Disabled women face ableism and sexism, and women carers are often invisible.

I'm absolutely amazed this video has been viewed over 102,000 times and shared over 11,000 times.

My highest performing video. A little silly humour, but i hope it made you think about important issues

Gold can be taken out of the ground once. The Sperrins, if protected properly, can support communities for generations.

Economic development for the west is important. But it should not come at the cost of sacrificing one of Northern Ireland’s most important landscapes.

Many people who live in the area have made it clear they do not want this mine. Their concerns about water safety, toxic waste and the long term environmental impact are real and should not be dismissed.

The Sperrins are already an asset. They support farming, tourism, local businesses and communities who have lived there for generations. That kind of sustainable economy is worth far more in the long term than a short lived gold rush.

Supporters talk about jobs and investment. But mining companies come and go. The damage to land, water and communities can last generations.

This proposal is not a small development. It is a massive industrial gold mine in the middle of a protected and treasured landscape. Once that kind of industrialisation arrives, there is no turning the clock back.

Projects of this scale do not come often. But that is exactly why people across the Sperrins are so concerned.

Dalradian Gold Mine Would Be the Wrong Future for the Sperrins

Victor Warrington suggests the Dalradian gold mine is an opportunity that does not come often. He is right about one thing.

Happy International Wheelchair Day 2026.

My wheelchair is not my weakness. It is my freedom.

It helps me reach my strength, not limits it.

Do not pity me. Do not turn me into inspiration.

See the person.
See the man.
I am Dermot.

Deaf and Disabled people across Northern Ireland deserve more than token gestures. The Draft Disability Strategy fails to deliver real change.

Executive Ministers must listen and work with us to get this right.

Just watched the new Scrubs.

First episode was a bit iffy, but really found it's groove again in the second episode.

Probably why they dropped 2 episodes the first week.

The Draft Disability Strategy is woefully inadequate.

Executive Ministers must work with Deaf and Disabled people to create a strategy that will truly improve our lives.

Imagine winning an award for a film about living with Tourette’s, the grit, the setbacks, the resilience.

Then still feeling the need to justify yourself when it manifests in real life.

We applaud the inspiration.
But question the reality.

That’s the gap we still need to close.

Me in my powered wheelchair with wings

Valentine’s Day isn’t easy for everyone.

As a single disabled man, I know how much of today is built around a narrow idea of love. But being single doesn’t mean being incomplete.

Love is also friendship, family, community, and self-respect.

Everyone deserves love.

I’m sick of hearing people on the news, discussions panels, and in columns about welfare calling deaf and disabled people “needy.”

It’s demeaning, outdated language that treats us like we’re lesser or a burden, not equal citizens with rights.

It needs to stop.
