Ruling explains how elephants can legally free themselves from zoos Nonhuman Rights Project made the request to the Supreme Court on the five African elephants' behalf, pleading that they be allowed to leave Cheyenne Mountain Zoo in Colorado Springs.

Colorado Supreme Court has ruled; the only way a group of distressed elephants locked up in a zoo can legally free themselves is if they become human. The herd, is said to show signs of brain damage & should be released to sanctuary!
