I've pushed my group to rely less on FB and to start a NL.

I've thought about posting flyers in libraries as a low-tech way to spread the word about monthly meetings. But now I've just shared with the wide public where to find us.

I'm seeing some really interesting discourse on signing up for protests. (Personally it's never made sense to me to sign up for a free, public, outdoor event even BEFORE security became an issue)

But my genuine question is--how do we safely yet effectively communicate with people?

Again, I'm just describing the situation. If we want to transform it, there's pretty much only one thing for converts to do: shut the fuck up and listen.

But even that might be too much to ask.

I would love to be part of the conversation on MSNBC related to the Kimmel story and it's chilling effects on first amendment, but unfortunately I was terminated by MSNBC for stating that "hateful thoughts lead to hateful words which lead to hateful actions".

PURPLE is such a sweet friend to BLUE. I see so much of your passion and empathy and courage in him. When BLUE got hurt at soccer it was like PURPLE's world stopped and nothing mattered until he helped his friend off the field and made sure he was ok before going back. And when his team got awards he was primarily concerned with asking the coach if he had enough awards to give BLUE one as well. I hope they end up with a precious lifelong friendship like we have.

They are so fascinating I had to write a story about them. They deserve recognition for what they did.

So to sum up the Wisconsin arrest issue:

ICE didn't have a juridical warrant. They only had an administrative warrant.

The DOJ has not convened a grand jury to indict the judge. They only got a criminal complaint before a magistrate judge.

This is ridiculous.

They didn't just expel people to El Salvador. They sent people to CECOT where they are imprisoned without trial or sentence and may never be released.

They have admitted in filings in the Abrego Garcia case that they can't provide due process.

Utterly despicable.
