This is actually something I have *on their rubric* for interpersonal spoken communication!! We do focus explicitly on pronunciation. Under what an “A” looks like: a native speaker would praise you for your pronunciation. 👏🏼🙌🏼 my grandmother is a tough (but loving) critic, so it must be accurate 😁

🎃 My grandmother met some of my students who came trick or treating and overheard lots more from inside the house. They were loud 🤣 My students spoke lots of Spanish (and loudly, I repeat 😂). Later, my grandmother, *unprompted*, told me how impressed she was with their excellent pronunciation 😮

So many of my students (over twenty I’m sure) stopped by my house for Halloween 🎃 10th, 11th, and 12th graders having fun in community ❤️ I LOVE seeing older kids trick or treating ❤️ they’re being *kids*, laughing, strolling, running, jumping, having conversations, and interacting with people
