Not only changing TZ even moving within the same one. Today there's 40 minutes difference between sunset in Québec city and Toronto. That would get me every time.

just tried to new process. Easiest for "phone number" was to pull down, select Canada to get the +1 then enter 10 digits. i did enter a valid area code, but not sure if that is even checked.

still doesn't justify asking for 4 fields, with it seems some weird validation error tests.

to me the only reason for this is to

1)increase the number of abandonments, something i have heard from people trying to fill out when it wasn't required, and
2)scare some people on privacy

both resulting in 311 not being able to address the situation.

For me it's more about being nimble. Contact email, infraction, submit.

The anti-car brigade is really fucking weird. The way they act like someone who drives regularly kills babies and kicks old ladies down the stairs is really fucking bizarre.

It's not that every individual driver is a murderous asshole (I'm not!). It's that car dependency as a whole is dangerous. It's that cars are deadly when they hit people. It's that our society prioritizes drivers above all else. It's about a system that is dangerous for anyone not in a car.

Say what you want about them, they do a great headline.

it's not only "right on red", in the video the driver got a "priority green arrow right"..

at least right on red driver is supposed to verify conflict with other vehicles, with a turn green even I would not expect to enter in conflict with perpendicular traffic.

i understand that, but you still need to be able to handle a right turn as i don't see a no turn right. there needs to be a green box to protect cyclists.
