It has been almost a year now since I decided to start drawing. It’s hard to believe that this time last year I didn’t even think it was possible for me to do art at all. I still struggle with feeling like that sometimes but much less so now.

I’ve been thinking of joining another social media platform, preferably one primarily used for art. Any mutuals have any good and relatively safe recommendations that they have good suggestions experiences with?

I tried to redo one of my old drawings using a new technique I’m trying to learn. Still have a while to go before I nail it but I do think it’s an improvement from the old one.

I haven’t been able to draw nearly as much as I would like since life is kind of hell for me right now (not life or death obviously, just exaggerating). I want to get back into it since I’m coming up on a year since I started and am starting to learn some techniques I really like.

I really like slowly chipping away at a drawing. Like not feeling any pressure to finish it or anything just slowly working on it when I feel like it, even if it’s something really simple. It t makes it a lot more fun to me.

Forgot about this one but I think it’s one of my favorite 3d scenes I’ve made so far. People are really sleeping on plastic as a mobile 3d modeling app.

I tried to follow along to a video by Austin Batchelor and didn’t quite get it. So I covered up my mistakes with cool light and smoke effects and got this. The dragon design is not mine it’s his. The effects I added to salvage it kind of made a cool drawing so I thought I would share it.
