“What’s more frightening is a former PM Tony Abbott openly supporting & being at that conference in support…& current Liberal senators.”🔥 #auspol
Our government placing Australians in that position needs to be questioned. The US won’t cease committing war crimes, this needs to be assessed.
And our PM shouldn’t be lying to us from the start.
If you're going after the Quakers, you probably need to take a good, long, hard look at yourself in the mirror.
Because it's almost guaranteed that you are the problem here.
A double whammy for MAGAs.
Many voted for Trump based on two promises:
- no more foreign wars
- I'll bring down prices
He's reneged on both, spectacularly.
Labor now refusing to say whether Harold E Holt naval communication station in WA helped support US killer submarine - they keep running and hiding from the reality of AUKUS

correct
there is no reason for a single one of them to vote for Mullin (yes, Mr. Fetterman, that means you) and they should make this as embarrassing as possible - which, given Mullin’s extensive track record of putting his foot in his mouth, shouldn’t even be that hard
No for real though

So 3 Australian navy personnel were on the US submarine that attacked an Iranian ship, but they did not take part in the sinking and killing of people onboard.
That makes perfect sense. “We were there but not actually there”. #auspol
Cannot understand how many men just do not like women, despite being sexually attracted to women, they just do not see women as human beings. #auspol

Behind them, silhouettes of four generic men, some with hand on shoulders of the girls, which have been through six iterations of redaction to satisfy the newspaper’s lawyers that none are identifiable.
A heavily redacted cartoon.
My @smh cartoon.
Tweet today from Ryan Grim of Drop Site. "An unarmed Iranian ship was invited, along with the U.S., to be part of an Indian Naval exercise, and its sailors paraded on land before the president. "The U.S. at the last minute pulled out of the exercise and instead attacked the Iranian ship with a torpedo. Breaking with all norms of civilization and warfare, we then refused to rescue the drowning survivors. The Sri Lanka Navy was left to pull the dead bodies from the water. "I am hard pressed to think of any other nation throughout history that would do something so cowardly and despicable. We are genuinely in a league of our own, and American media — mostly shrugging off the bombing of a girls school and acting as if carpet bombing Tehran is a normal military tactic — is deeply complicit."
Decent summary from Drop Site News. Misses the Australian 'contribution' (three of the submariners were Royal Australian Navy).

Guys I don't think our government are keeping us safe at all.
When asked if the govt’s new Apprenticeship program was “worthwhile”, Jacinta Price said
“Throwing more taxpayer money to boost trades isn’t the answer”
Doesn’t want taxpayers funding trades, but happy to slug them for hubby to attend CPAC events? Really disgraceful. #auspol
4. Were submariners from any other country's navy also on board?
Didn't think so.

The certainties of the United States hegemonic stewardship of the 'international rules-based order' have been deformed beyond recognition by the Gaza genocide, but no alternative architecture has cohered in their place. Instead there is a politics of gangster imperialism that has neither international nor domestic consent.
