Our children deserve honesty, safety, and peace. If we cannot protect them, then we have failed our most basic duty. It’s time to grow up. It’s time to lead.

Let’s also stop pretending we don’t see it. Some of the people elected to protect us wear masks in public and harbor hate behind closed doors. Leadership should not require disguise. Public service should not come with hidden contempt for the people.

Let’s be the adults. Let’s become a city, a state, and a country where children never have to walk out of classrooms because they are afraid of masked men. Where kids don’t have to choose between learning and feeling safe, and where courage is not demanded by children, but responsibility by adults.

The blue wave will turn into a tsunami on February 17, 2026. Democrats will vote. If you are Team Blue, this is our time to make Texas better. Texas Deserves Moore. Vote Savant Moore for Texas Comptroller.

Texas uses tax incentives and abatements to encourage economic development, but the true cost is often not clearly communicated to the public. When incentives are not evaluated for results, taxpayers cannot tell if they are working. A disciplined comptroller tracks outcomes. #TexasBudgetSchool

Today I am asking God for wisdom that brings clarity and peace, not confusion. Help me lead with patience, speak with care, and make decisions rooted in integrity. Let my actions reflect purpose, not pressure. In Jesus name. Amen.

Scripture: James 3:17 — But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be entreated, full of mercy and good fruits.

I often think about these words from the former president and commencement speaker at my Howard University graduation.

They remind me that progress only happens when we’re willing to step forward.

My name is on the ballot, and I’m asking you to step forward with me.

For Black History Month, I’m asking every Black voter in Texas to vote on the first day of early voting: February 17, 2026.

This election is too important to sit out.
Consider me for Texas Comptroller, and vote every position on the ballot.

Our ancestors fought for this.

I humbly ask for your continued prayers and your wisdom. And I promise you this: you can trust that I will represent you well, with respect for our past and responsibility for our future.

Because of that, I do not take my position in politics lightly. I know from whence we came. I know the sacrifices that were made, the doors that were forced open, and the dignity that was maintained even when the world tried to deny it.

Happy #BlackHistoryMonth to our elders.

I was raised by parents born in 1945 and 1946. As a child, I had the blessing of knowing family members born as early as 1896. That proximity to history shaped me. It gave me a perspective that many in my generation never had the chance to receive.
