Male announcer for the women’s USA-Canada hockey game saying “too many men” penalty immediately after his female counterpart stated “too many players on the ice” felt intentional.
Could you imagine if a female announcer said, “too many women on the ice” for a men’s game? Pronouns matter. Do better.
