Had a couple meetings cancelled this afternoon, so hanging out at the Lake Forest Park Starbucks for some reading and writing.

On my flight was a grandmother returning home after seeing her grandkids - Her daughter-in-law is a pastry chef and sent her home with two tins of these cookies.

It was delicious, and also sparked a lively conversation: is there any other way of eating this cookie without starting from the ears?

Loved braving the snow today with some of the @bothellumc kids as we shared our communion bread with the birds, the squirrels, and all of God’s creation!

Being on the road always leads to unhealthy eating… here’s to a new start: todu, brisket, and kimchi all pan-fried (with quinoa not-pictured)

What a joy it was on Sunday to baptize both Wesley (child) and Riley (dad), and for our community at Bothell United Methodist Church to commit to journeying alongside this amazing family as we do this thing called life together!

I was struck today by how much I love the framework of “Thanksgiving Expressions”… it’s one thing to be thankful, it’s another to express that thanks. What a joy to “express thanks” together!

As we draw closer to Thanksgiving here in the United States, what are you thankful for this season?
