The families of these fallen service members deserve a clear and coherent plan from the President on what they are being asked to die for and what the strategic plan for an endgame to this mission is.

We will not stand by while Americans are sent into harm’s way without cause, clarity, and responsible leadership. We strongly condemn the actions of the Trump Administration.

Veterans know you do not initiate force without defined goals and constitutional grounding. Congress must reassert its authority, and the administration must provide immediate clarity.
We have seen the cost of war.

Either the American people were misled then, or they are being misled now. President Trump campaigned on ending “forever wars.” Instead, we are seeing increased military action without clear objectives, transparent intelligence, or meaningful Congressional authorization.

That means American service members are now in greater danger. These strikes come after the administration claimed Operation Midnight Hammer had already “wiped out” Iran’s nuclear capabilities. If that was true, why are we escalating again?

Early this morning, the United States conducted additional strikes against Iran. In response, American bases in the region — including facilities tied to the headquarters of the U.S. Fifth Fleet — have been directly targeted.
