Here lies are better angels in bits and bytes. Now demons in our disinformation and delusions. No heroes, only bright and dark pixels on tiny screens. We are self-vanquished in a digital landscape. The incapable, unable to see the sky.

The walls contort
in this domestic pain.
Floorboards harass peace
into white flag flashbacks.
I become merciless,
soaking my bones
in velvet gunfire.
Life cannot coexist
with a death
that sings off key.
I weep

until I grasp
what healing means.
