I can't remember what songs they were. Just the sound and the vibe. I've been trying to get more into jazz guitarists. So far I love Wes Montgomery, George Benson, Emily Remler, and Django.

I'll try it but Metheny has never been able to grab me so far from the random sampling of songs I've listened to.

While I wouldn't buy it because it's so specific, it does kind of endear me to him a little more to see him take the piss out of himself with the Ken-sama meme 🤣.

I love this. I worked Front of House for a luxury hotel for 5 years. It was hard, wasn't always the most fun, but it's honestly been the most valuable professional experience I've ever had. I feel like everyone should be required to work a service job for at least 1 to 2 years.
