Thanks so much! Those are some great ideas. I will definitely try both. I also thought about putting like a "supernova" behind the text that like shoots light in all directions. And then on top of that a drop shadow.

It actually doesn't, because it now just serves as a home for a retired pirate. 😂 I posted it surrounded by water, but in the game, the ship's always at the beach.

Thanks! It's a Life Sim RPG. During the day, it's similar to Animal Crossing or Stardew Valley. And at night, there's dungeon crawling, kinda like Persona. And your actions during each time period benefit the other. (Like building something during the day that helps you at night and so on)

Love the idea with the sextant! I was thinking about putting his cutlass in a secret room under his bed, right next to his (non-existent) fish collection. He’ll need the player's help with that, since the fish are too intimidated by him to bite😅
