Angela Bassett in this is amazing!
15.10.2025 23:36 β π 8 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Read the first and liked it but that was decades ago. Read the second and didn't get into. Never felt the need to read the third. I think if I were to revisit it I would have a harder time with the author killing off nearly the entire cast of the movie off screen.
27.09.2025 05:53 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0We think of MS as win/lose. It's unfair when you have to guess and choose wrong. But now all of those mines you did find won't hurt anyone. After that last mine ends your game, someone else can continue your work. And maybe one day all of the mines will be cleared and the world will be a safer place
23.05.2025 15:04 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I am so stoked for this season! Watched this 5 times already!
24.02.2025 20:18 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Just getting ready to run a Star Wars D6 game for the first time. Do you have your house rules posted somewhere? Was always a big fan of the simplicity of Feng Shui system

24.02.2025 13:03 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0This was also made into a children's read along book! Droid World
24.02.2025 13:01 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0The thing with Star Trek though is all of the existential threats: the Borg, V'ger level threats, time being rewritten and wiping out your entire existence, the multiverse collapsing (ala end of Lower Decks). Star Wars is just war and poverty. It's not utopia but it's largely survivable
22.02.2025 05:49 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0It's so feels so fucking quaint when an anti-Bush song from the 2000s comes up in my playlist. Like that's what I was worried about? You sweet summer child

I can unreservedly recommend Death of the Necromancer and City of Bones
16.02.2025 22:56 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0The only time anyone talks about TLJ is when someone is talking about people who didn't like TLJ
16.02.2025 22:53 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0The roguish smuggler type unexpectedly betraying the heroes. The basic premise of ESB with the downbeat ending and just narrowly escaping the Empire and barely surviving to fight another day. For all that TLJ tries to say it's about moving on, it sure rehashes a lot
16.02.2025 21:47 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 2 π 0It's weird watching someone so willfully misunderstand something. TLJ is just as much of a nostalgia fest as TFA despite trying to pretend it's not. It's the Emperor's throne room scene, Yoda and the tree on Dagobah. Luke leaving his training early. The battle of Hoth with AT-ATs and snowspeeders

15.02.2025 18:37 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I just realized this is your video! I watched it when I was randomly looking for Lego MOCs for the YT-2000. Turned out the video had come out that same day so it was serendipitous that I found within hours of its release. Really amazing production!

Went to see The Princess Bride last night and apparently I've been mishearing a line of dialogue for 30+ years. "That Vizzini, he can fuss" not "That Vizzini, he can farce". In my defense Patinkin and Andre's accents really threw me off and I hadn't dedicated a lot of brain power to it

"No, I am your father." It's one of those "Play it again, Sam" quotes. It's easier for people to recognize if you say "Luke" but that's not the quote

I don't know about Palpatine, but Coruscant definitely had a different pronunciation prior to Phantom Menace. The "-sant" was definitely something new for EU fans at the time
10.02.2025 03:51 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0That's what we struggle with as fans. "Why do you support such an obvious fascist when you love Star Wars with such a clear anti-fascist message?" Because they like the cool space battles and laser sword fights. For some people Star Wars is just surface level fun and they don't see the disconnect
