Actually more interestingly, both of my grandmothers had college degrees and their own careers. My maternal grandmother was a social worker, and my paternal grandmother was a math teacher.

On my mom's side, an engineer (I think he might have helped invent radar?) and orchard farmer. On my dad's side, a teacher. Not sure what subject. He was also an artist, but not professionally (by choice - certainly people occasionally offered to buy his work, but he always said no)

First, a few pendants (plus one set), all in copper! I love working in copper because I think it oxidizes quite appealingly. It also has some antimicrobial properties! The leaf is $35, the spider set is $50, and that beautiful rattlesnake is $75

My brother got me a jewelry tumbler for my birthday (it arrived a little late lol, just got here today), which means I no longer have to polish all my jewelry by hand (hallelujah)

Slightly relatedly but I told someone recently that I think I would be most successful if I had a business partner who enjoyed doing marketing and social media and they were sort of weird about it but I feel strongly that I'm right. I'm just not sure how one goes about finding a business partner...
