We're now living in a retirement community dictatorship. Trump's making war from his Florida vacation home absent compliance with the Constitution or an effort explain his war of choice to the American people. Trump may pay a huge political price for such an illegal, and casual, use of our military.

I do appreciate that this administration is too incompetent to manufacture even the thinnest pretext for this, so we don't have to relive that 2002-2003 run when opposing an obviously idiotic war basically made you feel like the one sane person in a Twilight Zone episode.

One problem with studies is that the models are changing and improving so fast I wonder whether any study is already outdated.

Supposedly Claude code is quite impressive as of the past couple of months. This is anecdotal, which has its own problems.

If you are doing what you can to improve the world and take care of people, you are fully absolved from reading disturbing news. Just skip it. You won’t care any more about the issue than you already do, and you’re already doing as much as you can. You can just not read that stuff. Save yourself.
