this ^^^ is a nit-pick about incongruous assets trying to exist in the same space. its a little bit of that "pokemon art direction bad". GameFreak has the time and the budget to unify everything with small tweaks. soften those edges a little across the board, you know?

It jarring to see the specific funky flavor that pokopia has, and then CORPORATE APPROVED CHARMANDER MODEL is slapped on top of it

This creature is very short and very fat, like a little spunky doughball of chaos. The ref consists of two main views: a three-quarters angle of the character facing forward, and another of the character from behind. Theres also a detailed close up of the character's style of eye, and a few spare feathers to show specific patterns. Nezumi is dark charcoal gray in color, with a lighter gray on his belly and limbs, with a stripe of bright blue separating the two tones. His tongue and paw pads are a bright purple. He has feathered arms, dreadlock-styled hair, and four big ears. His tail is more prehensile in form (long and skinny) and ends in a big, stylish feather. Text reads: Nezumi {Avali, he/him}.
