Thanks to the students and our teams for a great couple of sessions spent sharing insights and questions.

They spent time with staff from our Navigator Team and Hospital In-reach team for a question and answer session on taking a public health approach to tackling the causes and consequences of homelessness, followed by a walk in Edinburgh to help them learn about homelessness and inequalities.

Yesterday we welcomed a brilliant group of first year MBChB (Batchelors of Medicine and Surgery) students from The University of Edinburgh as part of their Health in Communities Module.

This roundtable is designed to be accessible and informative, particularly for professionals who may not have previously worked directly with gambling harms but recognise its impact within their communities. Together, we can strengthen community responses and improve support for those affected.

The nationwide round table events on gambling harm, run by our Chances service alongside the RCA Trust are underway! Bringing together professionals from health, local authorities, third sector and community services these events explore how we can better support people and communities affected.

We're fighting food insecurity through our Community Pantries which offer a low cost way to access a variety of foods, including chilled and fresh produce and cupboard staples.

Drawing on the many months Rachael has spent volunteering with us, Rachaels work brings the nature and people of the farm and Green Skills Centre to life on canvas beautifully and vividly.

It's Burns night and some of the Staff at Cyrenians took to the Fareshare Depot in Seafield an' pit oan their best Scots tongues and took a bash at thon Bard’s Address tae a Haggis!
