De laatste waarschuwing van Salesforce kwam eind januari, terwijl Odido op of kort voor 6 februari is aangevallen. Odido ontdekte dat er een lek was waarbij persoonsgegevens vah zeker 6,2 miljoen accounts waren gestolen. Afgelopen jaar maakten de hackers meer slachtoffers,waaronder Google en Air France-KLM.
