A collection of deer bones (including the skull, jaw bones, vertebrae, pelvis and some ribs) sun bleaching on my backyard table.

Casually opening the blinds this morning, spotting bones and having to do a double take, followed by an "..... Oh... Right," because I was too tired to remember that I put them out to sun bleach like 3 days ago.

Bruh, I'm lucky it didn't rain.

That would be super useful if I was doing an illustration and not a sticker design that has no background and where I'm struggling to come up with base colours that work well together in the way that I envision.

Nevermind, my skills didn't improve enough, I still suck at colours, send help.

You ever step away from a piece for like a year because it's going to be too hard to get right, then when you come back to it you get it done, no hassle, on the first try?

And now the question becomes; did my skills improve? Or did I overestimate the task from the start?
