It's honestly so soul crushing. My life is incredibly difficult from my chronic illness. I'm barely getting through doing these errands. To have strangers go out of their way to be cruel is just rough.

I've had this happen countless times over the years from other customers shopping, customers pass me or turn around in line notice my mask and force a cough.

Today I went grocery shopping after getting some bloodwork done. Having a bad flare due to the barometric pressure changes, really didn't want to deal with shopping but pushed myself anyway.

An employee passed my masked partner and I, looked right at us and coughed.

Wearing a mask is one of the easiest ways to ensure you are in solidarity with those most impacted by our authoritarian present. Taking action to prevent the spread of a deadly&disabling neuroinvasive vascular virus—among other airborne pathogens—as our institutions crumble is an antifascist choice.
