a digital collage with a pink, purple, green, yellow, and teal gradient overlaid on all the images. the images include a horse carrying a bucket, a cluster of mushrooms, a grub, a birds talon, a cicada, five spiders, two flower buds, a hand with an eye over the back of it, and a microscope slide of atoms. there is white text that reads "get weirder or die miserable." the background is black and there is a slightly grainy texture

"Banding": The hair closest to the scalp lightens faster. So when the roots grow out this far, it ends up two toned with a darker horizontal band across the head. I usually go for an all over white. If it was vertical streaks it would add dimension, but it just looks like an unintentional stripe.

A photo of me with two slightly teased messy buns. Heavy black eyeliner. My hair is bleached blonde with dark roots grown out. The background is a line of bare trees with the setting sun peeking through the branches. Small areas of mostly melted snow on the grass. There's a grungy light leak / splatter effect overlay on the photo.
I haven't felt up to bleaching and toning my regrowth since the surgery.
I have never minded my roots and used to let them grow out this far until I learned that's what causes banding.
This is an old folktale and so far it hasn't been proven, or disproven that she existed.
This would have been during the 17th century, when a drought ruined the crops and a deadly flu swept through the town. Moll Dyer was blamed.
We also visited Moll Dyer's rock. The tale goes that Moll Dyer was accused of being a witch. Her home burnt down by a mob, ran into the woods and froze to death with her hand on this rock. She served as inspiration for Thd Blair Witch Project.
The last time I visited there wasn't glass.

Zero tolerance for bands using AI artwork. If your cover art is soulless Iβm going to assume that your music is soulless too.
Find out of copyright artwork and use that.
Commission an artist if you can afford it.
Draw a stick man and put that on the cover.
I donβt care as long as itβs not AI.

It had to be rescheduled twice due to the leftover ice from the last snowstorm.
It was well worth the wait!

Black women in America are more than twice as likely as white women to have a stillbirth.
Getting physicians to take their concerns seriously is one reason for this disparity, they say: βIf youβre a Black woman, you get dismissed.β

People can say itβs utopian or dreamy but itβs a fact that you have to believe new things are possible, fundamentally, in order to make them real. You have to make the choice to believe that more than this is possible & not be resigned to this being the way things have to be because itβs not at all.
