4️⃣ Find Your Confidence Champion – Mentors, allies, or even aspirational idols help you see strengths you might overlook. Who’s yours?
3️⃣ Celebrate Small Wins – Tiny achievements matter. Momentum builds confidence over time. (This Forbes article shows why!)

1️⃣ Reframe Your Inner Voice – Trade self-doubt for curiosity. Shift from “I can’t” to “I’m learning”.
2️⃣ Establish a Pre-Performance Ritual – A simple, consistent sequence (breathing, writing, gestures) before presentations or negotiations can calm nerves and boost performance.
Ever tried “faking confidence” and ended up feeling like you were wearing a Halloween costume… in July? 🎭 Here’s my big secret: confidence isn’t a costume. I just shared a new blog post with five evidence-backed ways to grow authentic self-assurance:

For the third year in a row, I’m thrilled to keynote the Women in Business event for the Canadian Marketing Association on Feb 25.
🎯 Let's talk! Which of these will you intentionally build this year?

4️⃣ Coaching Mindset: Great leaders don’t just give answers. They ask better questions and help others think their way forward.
5️⃣ Resilience: Change is constant. The ability to reset, adapt, and keep going is what sustains long-term success.
1️⃣ Emotional Intelligence: The ability to read the room and respond with intention.
2️⃣ Conflict Management: Learn to navigate tension without avoiding or escalating it.
3️⃣ Communication Clarity: Whether it’s expectations, feedback, or decisions; ambiguity slows everything down.
With all the crazy headlines making the news each week, I think we need to talk about the skills that *won’t* be replaced by AI.
That’s why this week’s Fearless in Five is all about the soft skills every budding (and seasoned!) business professional should be sharpening in the new year:
With the new year, I hope this year brings clarity, opportunity, and growth worthy of your effort!

Today is Work Harder Day, and today I’m dedicating it to every professional (early career and seasoned alike) who shows up daily to become the best version of themselves.
While it may not always feel like it, it's worth it to put in the effort when no one is watching and to always keep learning.
The leadership mindset in a nutshell is equipping yourself and your team to keep learning, even when things go sideways. Perfection is a myth. So when you fall flat, mess up a pitch, or hit a wall... congrats! You’re in the middle of your own action scene. 💭

Work-life balance implies that everything gets the same slice of your time and energy. But leadership and life doesn’t work like that, obviously. Some seasons, your work demands more. Other times, family comes first. Sometimes, you just need rest.
💡 Ask yourself: What matters most to me right now?
🎯 As you set goals for the year ahead, consider this one:
Who could benefit from your perspective and what might you learn by mentoring them?
When you mentor others, you sharpen your own leadership muscles in the process. Nothing clarifies your thinking like explaining it to someone else. Also, great mentors ask better questions than they answer. And learning flows both ways (always).

To every client, colleague, and friend who’s ever been counted out, told no, or quietly underestimated: I'm cheering for you. And I’m so proud of the leaders you’ve become. Happy National Underdogs Day. Keep proving them wrong in the most graceful, powerful way possible.🔥

🐾 Cue the Rocky theme music because today is National Underdogs Day, and you KNOW I’m celebrating this one.
Some of the strongest leaders I’ve ever coached didn’t start their careers with the fancy title. They were the underestimated ones who got overlooked.
Contrary to what you may believe, confidence isn’t magic. It’s just muscle memory. And this little routine builds the muscle.

4️⃣ Keep Smiling. Not the pageant smile! The “I believe I belong here” smile. It boosts trust faster than any title.
5️⃣ Change Your Name. Borrow the persona of someone who embodies the confidence you want. Beyoncé has Sasha Fierce. Who’s your alter-ego?
1️⃣ Smile. It signals warmth to others and calm to your nervous system.
2️⃣ Think Two. Take a slow 2-second pause to breathe, settle your shoulders, and reset your face. (You got this!)
3️⃣ Be Sincere. People feel authenticity immediately. Lead with truth, not theatrics.
This one is for anyone who’s ever wished they could borrow a bit more confidence before a big “why is everyone looking at me?” moment.
Yes, you can “fake it till you make it,” but the Jenn version is about embodying confidence!
Who’s the confident alter-ego you’re channeling this week? 😎
