So the UK Labour government has decided to ban puberty blockers for trans kids, forcing them to live with the trauma of developing a body that is not theirs. The science is clear: Blockers give trans kids the time they need to decide.

As in Tennessee, this ban does not apply to cis children, because the drugs themselves are not a safety hazard. The only thing at risk is a societyβs discomfort with allowing young people to make their own decisions about their own bodies.
