It is the same person behind this little corner of the internet, but with a slightly different name.
The logo is still a work in progress π
I am updating my handles to be "Knit. Life. Balance"
I feel like this update aligns with how I view my knitting: incorporating it into my life and finding an overall balance with work, school, and life in general.
I am excited and invigorated by this little change, and I hope you are as well!
I am excited to share that in 2026, I am updating my handle!
I have used the name DoSo Knits since 2020, when I started my YouTube Channel.
A play on my last name, which the French pronunciation sounds like "DoSo"
With the new year, I am feeling a rebrand to align with how I feel about knitting.
Finished a few months ago - sharing photos now π
Here is my MusiKAL shawl.
I used a kit from Fiber Hustle for this project and worked on this project through many adventures.
The stitch textures were fun to work through and the colors are so beautiful together!

This holiday season, I broke out my loom to weave a scarf.
I was able to weave an entire scarf with mini skeins - 5 20g minis for the weft and 9 10g minis for the warp.
I loved that this was a quick project and that it used up some mini skeins that have been languishing in my stash.

My annual sweater WIP for my husband, Shane, is already past the sleeve separation!
I'm knitting the #SoBasicDK. We've already done a post sleeve split try on and everything is looking great. I'm loving watching this project grow!

Thank you! Knitting with my handspun has given a lot of feedback on what I would adjust in future spins, so it has been a fun process
26.12.2025 03:54 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Right! There are places in this where my WPI varies greatly - some spots are more fingering weight, others are more DK, but I would say the average is a sport weight.
25.12.2025 21:29 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0The stitch marker shows where I was when I recorded my last podcast episode video for Youtube!
25.12.2025 21:28 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0The colors are colorway from Apothefairy Fabrications. It was a handyded braid of roving in all these gorgeous colors.
A handspun jumper is so impressive! A garment is on my spinning goals for next year.
Overall, this is still a great project to get feedback on my handspun and how to improve going forward!

My Jaunty Shawl is my first knitting project using exclusively handspun yarn.
At first, I was really critical of all the imperfections in my yarn, but as I've knit watched this grow, I am focusing less on the flaws and more on the amazing final result.

I've been knitting sweaters for 5 years now!
Check out my latest video as I try on all my sweaters I've knit and review them based on yarn, sizing, & versatility.
I enjoyed walking down memory lane with all these projects.
Which of my sweaters is your favorite? What's the best one you've knit?
I decided to sneak in a final warm weather knit into my queue.
I've been working on my Clay Tee and been enjoying every bit
The texture on this pattern really draws me in since it is always a bit of "let me finish this section."
I can't wait to wrap this project, mostly so I can wear it!
The final stages of my Tolsta Tee!
The only thing left is my bind off for the collar.
If you saw my most recent podcast, then you would know that this was finished in that video, BUT I was unhappy with the neckline. So I ripped it out & redid it for a tighter fit!

Another gift knit is complete!
For this hat, I opted to use two leftover fingering weight yarns held together for a DK Lyle Hat.
This was perfect for on the go knitting and knit up super quickly!

This project has been my favorite WIP lately! I cast on this Weekend Cami in a moment of pure inspiration, and I am so happy I did.
Everything about this project is making my heart sing.
The neckline, yarn, and shaping are all coming together beautifully!

Summer knitting, my crochet blanket, finished projects, and a regular rambling video.

I'm working on the face shield on my Lewsky hood. The shield is just 2x2 ribbing and an extra layer around my neck.
For cold winter days, I think this will be great, especially walking Sherlock!
