Missing the dome, which is pretty common, but got this 1981 #Kenner #StarWars MLC-3 Mini Rig for $5 at a thrift shop. Cleaned it up & added new decals.

Finally got around to cleaning up & applying new decals to my 1981 #Kenner #StarWars PDT-8 Mini Rig.

Another one to add to the collection. 1978 #Kenner #StarWars Darth Vader TIE Fighter. Fixed electronics, replaced wing springs, & applied repro decals.

Spent the day down at Pike Place Market & picked up an original 1983 Sallah from Golden Age Collectibles. One step closer to a complete original Indiana Jones line.

Not ST, but this reminded me that somewhere out there is a supercut of some X-Wing VS TIE .WAVs that somebody from the Lucasarts test pit chained together...

I just remember them being in cool sets like that boat & being way cheaper, at least according to my parents.
I had a jeep & helicopter as well.
Also, man, loved those CotT figures. Still have my Calibos & Thallo figs. Incomplete sadly.

Restored 1980 Kenner Twin Pod Cloud Car

2nd OG pilot acquired so now my 1980 #Kenner #StarWars Twin-Pod Cloud Car restoration is complete. Pretty simple since there are no electronics. Just a good clean & some new decals.

I’m had the one on the right when I was a kid, but I melted the saber. I thought the longer & closer I held it to a lightbulb, the longer it would glow. lol.

Can I ask where this is? Always on the lookout for vintage toy stores…

Found a lot of OG weapons in the wild, but they are often as much as the fig itself. Sometimes more. (Looking at you, Leia blaster!) Repros are what? 2-3 bucks? Why wouldn’t you?

Soap/Water, mineral spirits to get grease & grime off, then a little Plastx. But be careful & test it in a small unseen part. This plastic is old & it didn’t work as well on my X-Wing cockpit piece. YouTube has a ton of videos on the subject with various other things to use.

Latest project is the 1980 Kenner Twin Pod Cloud Car. Amazing what a difference a little polish & elbow grease can do for 45 year old plastic.
