Got that weird artist guilt for wanting to do new art but not despite working crazy this past year finishing two books. I love making art but someone’s gotta finish my second play through of Breath of the Wild, right 🤷‍♂️

It does! My own memory is not great plus Im ok taking lots of photos to help remember and I can use later for the art :) it’s also kinda great that the pics all keep the date and locations now.

I usually try to do an illustrated journal of my Japan trips, some more successfully than others. I loosely work on it there, then finish when I’m back home. I completed all the line art the month after returning and never had time to paint, but now is that time :) very fun revisiting the journey.
