They added the EREV to their plan only 9 months before the reveal, after having planned to be EV only. So I’d assume the design constraints were pretty rough.

I mean it seems like they could have done that by putting the engine where it usually goes. Would have lost the frunk I suppose. I can’t help but think the whole EREV plan them is a bit of a backfill. Like would they have made the same decisions with a white sheet approach?

Curious how a bunch of unsprung weight cantilevered over the rear axle does anything to improve vehicle dynamics in an offroad vehicle. Seems like it would be a bitch to isolate that movement.

Meanwhile, he realizes the only reason he was over there in the first place was so we could install a government that would sell us real estate and oil at a good price. And, of course, the oil companies used the skirmish over there to scare up domestic oil prices.

And he comes back to find that the plant he used to work at got exported to the country he just got back from. And the drone who put the shrapnel in his ass got his old job, cause it’ll work for zero cents a day and no bathroom breaks.

Now the politicians are sayin', "Oh, send in the Marines to secure the area" cause they don't give a shit. It won't be their kid over there, gettin' shot. It'll be some kid from Southie who just lost his factory job to a robot takin' shrapnel in his ass.

And I'm real happy with myself, cause I did my job well. But maybe that code was the location of some rebel base in Venezuela or Iran. Once they have that location, they send in killer drones to bomb where the rebels were hiding and people I never met, never had no problem with, get killed.
