Just to warn you, the opening 5 episodes have some seriously rushed editing! - but it settles down from episode 6

The way every character in this #cdrama needs to step up their fashion game to even share the screen with the Li sect. It’s not even a competition, really.

It depends on whether you want a wuxia/fantasy story involving tensions between rival sects (& a new generation couple who seek to overcome these grievances);

or a book transmigration/historical romance story which starts off a comedy but gets emotionally richer & deeper as the story continues

Yes, it was refreshing to see her exclaim very frankly & honestly how jealous she was of Luo Ningzi - but rather than let it poison her, she turned it into admiration & potentially friendship (fingers crossed 🤞)

I feel I’ve seen the actress before, but I may be getting confused with a Korean actor

At first I thought they were going to be arch rivals & enemies (there’s still a lot of story left, so it may still be the case); but I was happy to see Luo Ningzi’s cold personality begin to thaw & mutual respect between

I was curious to see what it was like, so I pressed play & watched the first two episodes - & I like it 🙂

It has a slight #ALoveSoBeautiful feel to it - a nice group of friends, with the FL Yi Lan getting support from the sometimes gruff looking but sweet A student ML Tong Xiaole
