just listened to Dr. Drew Weissman’s talk today. Amazing science & his passion on vaccine therapeutics equity touched my heart. I agree that collective advancement of biotechnology by helping other countries to establish their own platform and research facilities will be critical combating dieases

Recently I was evaluated by my therapist to potentially have ADHD which prompted me to get a book to learn more about it. I have never felt so seen.. time collapsing reference and “now or not now” distinction are so true. This is how i feel everyday (especially in the lab) 🫨🫨🫨

As a trainee, my biggest weaknesses are public speaking and fear of writing. I have been told many times during college “you are too scatterbrained” in essays and during presentations. From these feedbacks, I created innervoices that I suck at these. 1/n

Just in NIH grants, It looks like beautiful Iowa City, home of the U of Iowa, will lose $71m in funding. That's almost $1k per resident. And that's before all the other cuts to SSA, FDA, etc.
