I disliked Nosferatu mostly because it started on too high a level of anxiety- the strings had nowhere to go. There was no build, it was instantly at the highest level and it wasn’t as effective. It stifled the whole film in a bad way. Very unfortunate when a movie doesn’t allow a score to breathe.
