Watching David Beckham’s Boss ad and am concerned he’s going to have a flat battery. Why is he eating cereal? Why is he wearing undies in the shower? Why doesn’t he have curtains?
I have watched the advert several times and I am still no clearer. I shall keep watching hoping for a breakthrough.

Still waiting for the teenagers to wake up…

21 substitutes in today’s Asda shop. That’s about a 1/3 of my order! Next year I’m just going to send someone into the shop with some cash and say ‘Surprise me!’ 😂 (we have Turkey, wine and cheese so we’ve got the bases covered)

Such a wonderful book. So funny and wise. He’s one of my fave authors.

For the past month or so I’ve picked up a pack of pigs-in-blankets with every shop in case of a Christmas shortage. I now have 60 (piggies, not packs). But something compels me to buy more. Do I have -
a) a problem
or
b) a heathy respect for seasonal food

The boys love it but the only time I tried to watch one, I dozed off 😬 (and they won’t let me forget it ) My attention span prefers a sub two hour film, but I’m committed- and I do like the idea of sloth and brown food!

I have promised my boys that I will watch all the Lord of the Rings films with them this Christmas. There is now talk of extended versions and I am full of regret.
