I think it comes to the differing type of spoof movies, the new Naked Gun movie was trying to be more or less a modern take of the Naked Gun films, while here Scary Movie is kinda like a legacy sequel

besides, Marlon Wayane is an ally of the LGBTQ+ community and has a trans son, I doubt the pronouns joke was him being a bigot

obviously the pronoun joke was.. well the most basic bitch pronoun joke ever told, but I still have hope, giving how the movie seems to be targeting both sides, which honestly should be the gold standard.

Odd choice of words but giving how in the trailer there is both a pronouns joke and a all white people are racist joke I can sorta see what he's implying
