💫 ALBERICH (17/17)
As you might notice, Alberich is Kaeya, Chlothar, Caribert, and Anfortas’ last names as well as the name of the Alberich Clan but did you know that he is also a stand alone character in the book of Perinheri?

The name Alberich comes from a Germanic-

means “bright” or “shining” and “sword” or “blade”. Which is also similar to the greek god, Helios. This potentially connects considering Heliobrant was a knight of Khaenri’ah in the story.

⚔️ HELIOBRANT (16/17)
Heliobrant is one of the main characters in the story of Perinheri which is book that can be found in fontaine. The name doesn’t seem to have a distince origin but it’s possible it could’ve been derived from Hellebrandt.This name have Germanic origins which-

🛡️ ANFORTAS (15/17)
Anfortas name is a refrence to the Authurian legend, The Fisher King, who’s name is also Anfortas. He specifically is tasked with protecting the Holy Grail.

The fisher king is unable to walk or ride a horse and is often depicted to be fishing as he waits-

and Charibert of Hesbaye and Charibert of Laon.

🎭 CARIBERT (14/17)
Caribert seems to be in refrence of the frankish name, Charibert which means “glorious warrior”. It’s variants are Herbert, Heribert, and Aribert.

For people are recorded to share the same name. Two kings, Charibert I and II—

Chlothar’s name can also be derived from the goddess Clotho who is the youngest of the Three Fates or Moirai. She spins the thread of human life.

Chlothar is a germanic given name meaning “Famous warrior” or “glory”. There are other related names such a Lothar, Hlophere, and Hlodhari.

There are four kings recorded to have the same name as him. Chlothar I, II, III, and IV.

Rerir is the son of Sigi and avenges his father’s death after he was murdered. So in some case his name could be related being an Avenger os some sorts.

Rerir is the last of the five sinners, “Rächer of Solnari”. Ironically enough, not much is known about the meaning of his name aside from the the fact that it comes from the Völsunga Saga, the same epic, Dainsleif name is based off of.

Surtalogi is another sinner, “The Foul”. His name is a refrence to the fire giant, Surtr, which means “black” or “the swarthy one” in Norse mythology.

🎨 ALBEDO (7/17)
Albedo is a variant of Alvelo meaning “white” or “whiteness”. Albedo is an actual thing in real life. It is the fraction of sunlight that is diffusely reflected by a body.
