MEET OUR DIRECTOR! Angela oversees the entire programme. Before joining, she spent 18 years working in a primary school in Leeds. During her career, she has always been very involved in ITT.
In her free time, Angela enjoys baking, sewing, going to the gym and spending time with family and friends.

MEET OUR SCITT ADMINISTRATOR! Cathy has only worked for Exceed SCITT for 6 months, but has already made a hugely positive impact due to her 17 years of experience in ITT.
In her free time, Cathy enjoys spending time with her 2 children. She also enjoys a trip to the theatre and a swim or gym class.

MEET OUR CURRICULUM LEAD! Emma has been part of the Exceed SCITT team for almost 2 years, working with both Primary and Secondary cohorts. Emma started her career as a primary class teacher, predominantly in KS2.
In her free time, Emma enjoys spending time with her son, running and playing tennis.

MEET OUR HEAD OF SECONDARY! Suzanne has worked for Exceed for over 2 years, but already had years of experience in Secondary ITT. Suzanne started her career as a Secondary PE teacher, and still delivers bespoke PE training days. She's had roles as Year 7 Transition Lead, Head of Year and ITT Lead.

MEET OUR HEAD OF PRIMARY! Emily has worked for the SCITT for almost 2 years, but before this, was an Assistant Head in one of our Exceed schools, overseeing EYFS and KS1. She's been involved with the SCITT for years, as a CBM, Lead Mentor and Tutor, and knows the primary programme inside out!

On Friday, our SCITT teachers visited Saltaire for our annual ‘Wellbeing Day’. We started the day with some training on how to look after our wellbeing and then everyone took part in a treasure hunt around the local area. Here’s a video that one of our new SCITT teachers put together for us!

Our SCITT teachers delivered 5 minute reflective presentations on an area of the curriculum that has had an impact on their practice and on the learning in their class. These were excellent and we really enjoyed listening to our SCITT teachers being so reflective on the run up to gaining QTS!
