I chose my pen name for a personal hero - Judith Resnik, the first Jewish woman to fly in space. Yesterday was the 40th anniversary of her death in the tragic challenger disaster.
I write Jewish women in space. her story taught me that such a thing is possible. May her memory be for a blessing.
