The current argument of the British right is that Muslims turned out in "blocs" with "family voting" to cast their ballots for a party led by a gay Jewish man, and this shows that multiculturalism has failed, voting is "sectarian" and we are in a crisis.

There’s always been a section of British society that believes that any vote by a Muslim that is anything other than writing in ‘I’ll have whatever the non-Muslims are having’ is illegitimate. It’s just that section hasn’t normally included the leader of the opposition.
