eleanor isn't based off of anyone. i wanted a character i could build up to before having her give her own statement, like leitner or jane. she helps round it all out, funnily enough i think she sees things the clearest out of the three
i liked the idea of each of their names starting with E

ezra's loosely based off of my bf. he got corruption on the quiz, but he's pretty web/eye coded. ezra was meant to be a bit more fun type pure evil, but when i got the idea of making the 3 a doomed fear polycule i wanted to develop the relationship more.

fun fact: eden is based off of a result i got in a "which fear are you?" quiz. i got the end, and had a bit of an identity crisis. i thought of what type of avatar i would be for the end. that's where i came up with the idea of a dream psychopomp

i guess it depends on the type of person. those invested find most issue with the theft. your median person probably sees it as a toy but does kind of care about whether the videos they see are "real or ai".
you could argue environmental damage and death of internet are long term the most damning

i can see why most people would find "it's slop" to be a more compelling argument as it not only affects them more but also they can connect it to something most people already consider a problem

i don't think it's possible for something that is theft to not be slop. you cannot create something with passion if you didn't even create it
